Rapport General des Plaidoyers Sur le Code Minier et le Code des Hydrocarbures

Les plaidoyers sur le code minier et le code des hydrocarbures ont été réalisé de concert avec les organisations de la société civile congolaise ainsi que quelques organisations internationales, dont la liste en annexe. La réussite de ces plaidoyers est l’effort apporté par SARW dans la coordination des travaux en plus de son apport financier significatif au projet global.

Toutes les activités menées dans le code de ces plaidoyers sont répertoriées et des rapports séparés à chaque instrument juridique ont été publiées.

Training Workshop: Southern Africa Resource Barometer Monitoring Resource Governance in Southern Africa (Madagascar)

Madagascar is rich in mineral resources, oil, gas, timber, blue economy, and fisheries but the population is one of the poorest on the continent. This week SARW is in Antananarivo, Madagascar to train MPs on their oversight role in the extractive industries. Thirty MPs, including the speaker of the National Assembly, will participate.

O Observatorio de Recursos da África Austral (SARW) organizou uma Conferência sobre o Comércio Ilícito de Ouro Congolês no Hotel du Fleuve Congo, em Kinshasa de 29-30 de Setembro de 2015. A conferência foi organizada em conjunto pelo Programa de Iniciativa de Justiça da Sociedade Aberta de Nova Iorque, em colaboração com a TRIAL, uma ONG da Suiça.

Le Commerce Illicite de l’Or en République Démocratique du Congo et l’Affaire Argor

Southern Africa Resource Watch (SARW) a organisé à Kinshasa, du 29 au 30 septembre 2015, au Fleuve Congo Hôtel, la Conférence sur le commerce illicite de l’Or congolais. La conférence a été organisée conjointement avec le programme Open Society Justice Initiative (Open Society Justice Initiative) de New York, en collaboration avec l’Ong TRIAL (Track Impunity Always) de Suisse.

Illicit gold trade and the Argor case

Southern Africa Resource Watch (SARW) held a Conference on the Illicit Trade of Congolese Gold at Hôtel du Fleuve Congo, in Kinshasa on 29-30 September 2015. The conference was jointly organized with the New York Open Society Justice Initiative Programme, in collaboration with TRIAL, an NGO from Switzerland.

Training of Lesotho MPs

The SADC Parliamentary Forum in partnership with the Southern Africa Resource Watch will be hosting a National training  workshop for the  Parliament of Zimbabwe from 6th -7th March in Harare. The SADC Parliamentary Forum approved, adopted and launched the Barometer towards the end of last year.

The training workshop is part of a series of trainings on the Barometer for Monitoring Mineral Resource Governance in Southern Africa that  SARW and SADC-PF are planning to organize in all SADC Countries, targeting Members of Parliament and other Stakeholders where possible.
